Where It Began — Home of the Holtermann Nugget
• 1851 — Gold rush reaches Hill End and Tambaroora
• 1872 — Beyers & Holtermann’s Star of Hope mine on Hawkins Hill
yields the Holtermann Nugget: 286kg, the largest specimen of reef
gold ever found
• Hawkins Hill — directly above Reward, produced 435koz at 309 g/t
• >3,500 historic workings — most worked by hand, only to the water
table (~20m)
• Today — 150 years on, Vertex is mining the same reefs at depth with
a modern mechanised fleet
Holtermann Nugget — 286kg
Discovered at Hill End in 1872 — the largest specimen of reef gold ever found.

Hawkins Hill and Holtermann figures are historical production records — not JORC estimates and not indicative of results at Reward. See slide 16.
Why Reward Is Unique — Free, Coarse, High-Grade Gold
Free Gold
Up to 91% recovered by gravity alone
— no cyanide, no chemicals
Coarse & Clean
Gold liberated at 650 micron, so no
ball mill is required; negligible
sulphides, no PAF, re use water
Sorts Perfectly
No gold in the country rock — ore
sorting gives 79% mass rejection and
a 337% grade uplift
Very High Grade
Indicated Mineral Resource grade of
21.17 g/t Au
Plant at the Portal
Gravity plant beside the mine
entrance; Fosters only a few hundred
metres away
Proven Pedigree

Underground Drilling Starts 2027 — Building Gold Ounces
• 2027 — a continuous underground drilling program commences
from within the Reward mine
• Build the inventory — add gold ounces to the Mineral Resource
and upgrade Inferred ounces to Indicated, building toward a
maiden Ore Reserve
• Stay ahead of mining — keep resource growth ahead of the
mining front as production ramps up
• Targeted — three priority drill target areas defined by the 2026
resource model
• Efficient — drilling from existing underground development, close
to the targets and the plant

• South Star Lodes — undrilled high-
grade target on the same corridor
The Exploration Target is conceptual in nature
— there has been insufficient exploration to
define a Mineral Resource, and it is uncertain if
further exploration will result in one under the
JORC Code (2012). It is not being reported as
part of any Mineral Resource or Ore Reserve.

Exploration Target — Cautionary Statement (JORC Code clause 17)
The Exploration Target referred to in this presentation in respect of Fosters and the South Star Lodes is
conceptual in nature. There has been insufficient exploration to define a Mineral Resource at these
targets, and it is uncertain whether further exploration will result in the determination of a Mineral
Resource. The Exploration Target is not being reported as part of any Mineral Resource or Ore Reserve
estimate.
Production Targets, Forecasts and Forward Looking Statements
The monthly ounce figures described in this presentation as ramp-up targets or longer-term production
objectives, and statements regarding development rates, stoping rates, rostering, equipment delivery,

Mineral resource statement
The resource estimates are classified in accordance with the Australasian Code for Reporting of
Identified Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves (JORC, 2012). The Reward estimate was
completed by Andrew Hawker of HGS Australia. Mr Hawker is an independent consultant to
Vertex Minerals Limited. Mr Hawker has sufficient experience that is relevant to the style of
mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration and to the activity being undertaken to
qualify as a Competent Person as defined in the 2012 Edition of the ‘Australasian Code for
Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves’. Mr Hawker consents to
the inclusion in the report of the matters based on his information in the form and context in
which it appears. The Reward Mineral Resource is classified as Indicated and Inferred. The
classification was considered appropriate based on drill hole spacing, sample intervals,
geological interpretation and representativeness of all available assay and density data. The
classification reflects the low confidence in short range grade estimations in the model.
