Pollution Incident Response Management Plan
Pollution incident response management plans (PIRMP’s) are plans all holders of environment protection licences are required to prepare in accordance with section 153A of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 (POEO Act).
Vertex Minerals Limited operates the Reward Gold Mine at Hill End under EPL 12008.

Notification of relevant authorities
In the case of a pollution incident plan being activated, the designated Vertex employee responsible for the activation of the PIRMP will either make contact or instruct other employees to make contact with the relevant persons or authorities after an initial site assessment has been conducted as per the site PIRMP.
