Announcement PDF ASX:VTX 1 ASX ANNOUNCEMENT 30 SEPTEMBER 2026 DELAYED LODGEMENT OF 2026 ACCOUNTS Vertex Minerals Limited (ASX: VTX) (“Vertex” or “the Company”) advises that it will be delayed meeting the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and ASX Listing rule lodgment deadline, to lodge its audited financial report for the year ended 30 June 2026 (“2026 Accounts”) within three months after year end, before the ASX market announcements office closes on Wednesday 30 September 2026. Vertex has been working with its auditor (BDO Audit Pty Ltd) and providing detailed information to BDO, to support its 2026 Accounts disclosures under Australian accounting standards. However, due to unanticipated delayed timing, the Company was unable to meet internal deadlines and BDO requires additional time to be able to finalise its reporting. The Company anticipates that it will be placed into a compulsory trading suspension commencing market opening on Thursday 1 October 2026 due to non-lodgement of its 2026 Accounts by the deadline. The Company also anticipates that it will be able to lodge its 2026 Accounts before the ASX market announcements office closes on Friday 2 October 2026 (7.30pm Sydney time) and, subject to the ASX Listing Rules, trading would then be reinstated commencing market opening on Monday 5 October 2026 (the next trading day). The Board is committed to maintaining transparency and will, in line with its continuous disclosure obligations, promptly update the market on any revised timing for lodging the 2026 Accounts.
