VERTEX MINERALS

Vertex Minerals Limited (ASX: VTX) is an Australian-based gold exploration company. At the core of our mission is the drive to create value for our stakeholders and communities. We aim to achieve this through mineral discovery, development, and production.

We are committed to the discovery and development of the next generation of multi-million-ounce gold deposits within the NSW. To this end, the Company’s main objectives are:

  • Completion of infill and extensional drilling at the Hargraves Project and the Red Hill and Hawkins Hill mines (which partly comprise the Hill End Project) targeting resource expansions while increasing the definition of higher grade domains;
  • Complete metallurgical beneficiation testing to be conducted in parallel with assessment of direct shipping ore opportunities to increase overall project scale;
  • Systematic exploration at the Pride of Elvire and Taylors Rock Projects to deliver a maiden JORC resource;
  • Focus on mineral exploration and other resource opportunities that have the potential to deliver resource growth for our Shareholders;
  • Continue to pursue other acquisitions that have a strategic fit for the Company.

The Team

Board & Management Team

Roger Jackson

Executive Chairman

Mr Roger Jackson has been actively involved in the mining industry for 30+ years as a mine operator, services contractor and explorer. He is a geologist with strong knowledge of gold exploration and mining. He has developed several mining and ore processing operations in Australia and abroad. Roger has a Science degree with a major in Geology and Geophysics, and holds a Diploma in Financial Management, Diploma in Education. He is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London, Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Tully Richards

Executive Director Geology & Exploration

Mr Tully Richards is an experienced gold geologist based in Orange, NSW. Tully has a wonderful depth and breadth of experience in exploration in the Lachlan Fold district. A graduate in geology from Sydney University, Tully has worked as a geologist in operating mines but has found his passion exploring the Lachlan Fold Belt for gold

Jim Simpson

Executive Director Operations

Mr Jim Simpson is a highly experienced mining engineer and executive with over 35 years’ experience in the Australian and international mining industry. Jim has held senior positions including CEO, Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, and General Manager roles at major mining operations across Australia and Brazil. His expertise spans underground and open-cut mining, corporate turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, feasibility studies, and operational excellence in Gold, Copper, Lead, and Zinc operations.
